Better Networks Forum

Making our network more efficient, safer and reliable

Location: Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), London
Date: 23/01/2019 9:00 am

On 23 January 2019 the Innovation team is hosting UK Power Networks’ first ever Better Networks Forum at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) London in Savoy Place. The event is a chance for the industry to learn more about how we’re innovating to help make the network more efficient, safer and more reliable. We’ll be talking about projects ranging from Synaps, which uses hashtag#artificialintelligence to predict faults before they happen, to MAAV, which is a ground breaking device strapped to the back of a pickup truck that can detect issues on the network simply by driving past them. The Better Networks Forum will be an opportunity to network with industry peers, learn about how we’re translating innovation into business as usual and meet our engineers and collaborators at a series of stalls during breaks from the main session.
